About ABEX:

The aim of ABEX is to promote and support the welfare of ex forces personnel and their dependants, and those organizations whose agents have risked life and limb in the service of this country, through democratic representation to ensure fair and equitable treatment within our society.

ABEX stands for the Association of British Ex Service Personnel. We are at present a non profit organisation but intend to apply for Charity status in the very near future. Our aims are to offer help, guidance and advice to all ex members of service personnel, current serving members and their families.

We do not intend to distract from the brilliant work other organisations such as SSAFA, RAFA and The Royal British Legion currently offer, but aim to provide help and expertise in areas that these organisations cannot provide. We will represent our members on moral and political standpoints, combining our existing framework, members and contacts to represent you as a clear, powerful and combined single voice.
